Aspects of quantum mechanics can seem counterintuitive or even paradoxical at times because they describe behavior quite different from that seen at larger length scales. In the words of Richard Feynman, quantum mechanics deals with "nature as She is – absurd". Hence animations at times are beneficial from students point of view. We have conducted classes on wave-particle duality of matter, concepts of uncertainty principles etc through animations. Response of the class indicated that they are been able to understand the subject to a greater extent than projected in a class comprising of only chalk and board. Better understanding also enhanced their problem solving skills. The development of the concept of wave packets and hence that of probability through animations made the subject much more approachable towards the students.
