A Faculty Development Programme was organized at Techno India College of Technology from 02/06/2016 to 03/06/2016 at the Language Laboratory. Colnel Prabir Sengupta, the veteran professional with over 33 years of experience in leadership, management, business strategy, recruitment and consultancy imparted training to the faculty members of various departments on the ways to conduct the classes effectively in order to enhance the employability of the students. Communication Games and Case Studies were taken up to facilitate practical understanding of the topics. Mr Sushanta Sinha, the Regional Head of Tata Consultancy Ltd. Spoke to the faculty members about the emerging needs in the Corporate Sector so that the teaching-learning process at the Institute could be framed keeping in mind the needs of the Industry. The Faculty Development Programme was very fruitful and effective.

 Techno India College of Technology, Rajarhat , Newtown campus organized FDP Workshop on Use of ICT in Education for Online and Blended Learning” from  2 May 2016 to 10 July 2016. The objective of the workshop was to provide training to the participants for online blended learning that will be used in Flipped classroom.

Two week ISTE Workshop on Database Management Systems conducted by IIT Bombay was organized at Techno India College of Technology from 21st May 2013 to 31st May 2013 in the CSE laboratory No.5. To enhance the teaching skills of our faculty colleagues in core Engineering and Science Subjects.

ISTE Workshop on Computer Programming

Techno India College of Technology, Rajarhat , Newtown campus organized ISTE Workshop on Computer Programming from May 20th, 2014 to June 21st, 2014. This initiative was a part of the National Mission on Education through ICT which is supported by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Our college was chosen as one of the remote centers for hosting this workshop and the Department of Computer Science & Engineering took up the responsibility and executed it successfully .The objective of the workshop was to train the teachers with effective teaching methodology for Computer Programming using examples and highlighted the points that need to be stressed while teaching to students. The workshop lectures were delivered by Dr. Deepak Phatak , Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, IIT Bombay and it was transmitted in distance education mode using the AVIEW technology through internet.
